As an agency, Mack Hall Real Estate in association with Knight Frank is trying to balance our responsibilities to Sellers, Buyers and Tenants within the current public health environment.
We confirm the following HOME OPEN PROCEDURE:
Seller/Tenant Responsibility to notify Agent:
The Seller/Tenant to advise the Agent if they have been, or any family member who live at the property or persons who have visited the property have been overseas in the last 14 days;
The Seller/Tenantto advise the Agent if they, or any family member who live at the property or any persons who have visited the property, are showing flu like symptoms.
The Seller/Tenantto advise the Agent if they have been, or any family member who live at the property or persons who have visited the property have been in contact with someone who has tested positive to COVID-19
The Seller/Tenantto advise if they do not wish to hold a home open.
If the Seller/Tenant have not travelled overseas in the last 14 days, have not been in contact with someone who has tested positive to COVID-19 and are showing no flu symptoms, a home open/private inspection can proceed, provided the following are strictly adhered to:
The Seller to ensure all door handles and surfaces are to be sanitised prior to the home open.
The Agent to sanitise their hands prior to entering the home.
A written Warning Notice (A3 Size) will be displayed to all Home Open attendees at the front entrance, with attendee instructions.
The Agent will ensure all Home Open attendees sanitise their hands prior to entering the home and to not touch any door handles or surfaces.
Home Open attendees will not be allowed to attend the home open if they have been overseasin the last 14 days or if they have been in contact with someone who has tested positive to COVID-19.
Should a Home Open attendee want to open a door/cupboard,the Agent is authorised to open with a disposable glove, or if a glove is not available, a tissue or disposable cloth which will be disposed of immediately after one use.
It is the responsibility of the Seller/Tenant responsibility to ensure they sanitise all surfaces themselves after the home open.
